We now have church on Sunday nights (our church is being renovated), so it has messed with my ritual of blogging time... so I will get some pictures up tonight.

There are few boy stories I will share. We shoo our dogs out of certain rooms sometimes by saying "out"... so now Caleb points his little baby finger at the dogs and says "Ow". It took me awhile to figure out what he was saying because he would randomly just say it very sternly. He is also completely focused at getting to the dog's water dish (only while we are watching, since he knows he shouldn't do it).

Aidan has a lot of funny sayings, of course. He says "gotfor" instead of "forgot". Yesterday he said to Andy on the playground, "Daddy, I am a strong boy, forever and ever, the end." And, his prayers at mealtime and bedtime are always a source of chuckles and sweetness. We had pet-sat a friend's 2 rabbits for 1 week in June, and Aidan still prays for those bunny rabbits every day. Andy works with a few refugee families during the week, and Aidan prayed for the "family" (that's how we refer to them) last night. So sweet!

Andy gets an A+

Our first week with each of us in new roles has been GREAT! I (Colleen) have not worried about the kids, and could focus on doing well, and Andy and the boys have had quite the week of activities. They went to the art museum, made yummy food, watched the airplanes at a little local airport, hung out with some refugee families. Whew! I am so thankful for my energizer bunny husband. We feel so blessed to have this opportunity. I LOVE my new fellowship and my goal is to work hard this year in order to have a good faculty position next year.
