My, I, You

I have started posting more stories because I can't keep a piece of paper around to write them down on for their scrapbooks... so the blog will be the scrapbook!

Another funny thing that Aidan does (that I am sure all children do, but it is cutest when they are your own) - is the confusing of the pronouns:

"My did it" -- after going potty by himself

"Momma, hold you" -- wanting some affection from me

"Here my come, here my am!" -- running into a room, or playing peekaboo

"Where did him go?" -- looking for Daddy

What the brother is saying

We frequently ask Aidan, "What is Caleb saying?"

Yesterday, Caleb was sitting on the floor and as Aidan swiped his toy, he said, "Caleb saying, 'Aidan, take it'".  Hmmmmm....

Aidan's first art exhibiton . . . He got ahold of the camera-- this is the best in the 100 he took.(This is one of Caleb, but most were of the ceiling or way too close-up pictures of people) ... got to start somewhere!

Toddlerisms

Our little 3.5 mile commute to and from the daycare is always great fodder for cute discussions. Sometimes we sing Good Morning to various things, from the trees, to the baby brother, to our "cup water". This week there was an especially funny discussion...

We tell Aidan that he is the cutest boy, to which he responds, "I the cutest boy in the world." So, I asked him if Caleb was the cutest boy. After a few attempts at a sentence, he finally said, "Caleb the cutest baby." I then said, "Is Caleb the cutest baby in the world?" Another few attempts, then "Caleb the cutest baby in the bum-bum seat". So, already, the brother is relegated to a small kingdom... It has got me wondering how they know at age 2 the idea of comparison-- I thought it was funny!
