Already a ladies man















Miss Liana Brown paid us a visit last week, and the two of them hit it off. What a lovely pair. However, in conversation Liana found Aidan to be a bit of a bore.

Naptime Baby!! (as a suggestion Aidan, let's try this at night)







These pictures capture the way we have all felt, since we have been home. Unfortunately, Aidan prefers this look more during the day than at night. Our goal: night time solo sleeping.

So, we made it home from the hospital yesterday (Thursday). Thankfully, the labor and delivery went well on Tuesday and we had a good stay at the hospital during the past few days, learning how to take care of our little guy. Since we have been home, we are making the transition to the new responsibility as parents, with lots of help from Colleen's mom. Colleen's mom will pass the baton off to my mom next week, giving us continued support . . . and opportunities to sleep!

We have been blessed with a son who is in good health. I have been blessed with a wife who is a great mom. This has certainly been the best experience of our lives. It's a little bit of heaven on earth.

Welcome Aidan James Kraft!!! Yes, the blessed event occurred today. Aidan was born at 12:20 pm, September 19, 2006. He is 7 pounds 4 ounces and 19 1/4 inches long. And as you can see below, a beautiful boy! Both Mom and Baby are doing well. We can't wait to show him off to everyone!

 

 

We are currently in the ninth month of pregnancy. Colleen, thankfully, has had an "easy" pregnancy. Easy for me to say. She has mostly been tired. Of course, work is a guilty accomplice for that symptom.

I thought you might want to see a few pictures of Colleen as she has progressed through the last few months of pregnancy.

Baby Shower In June the ladies in our church had a baby shower for Colleen and her good friend Tonya. In the picture below, Colleen is with her mother and grandmother and Andy's mom.

There were many wonderful gifts. The gifts from Tonya were wrapped with the basic baby tasks in mind.

Colleen's family came to visit during the first weekend in September from Michigan. Lee and Natalie (Colleen's sister) are on the right.

First pics of our baby! Not exactly an easy read, but you get the picture. The baby is kneeling to the left. The head is on the left, spine is top right and legs on the bottom right.

Unfortunately we didn't get a picture when the little one was doing acrobatics . . . feet over the head. Oh well, plenty of humorous pictures in the coming years.

In this picture, the baby's head is on the left facing forward. You can see the eyes, nose and chin on the left side. On the right side you can see the ribs, spine and legs.

This is certainly an amazing blessing and we are thankful!
