Derivation of the Caleb words

Caleb is in the stage where he picks up a lot of words, and remarkably, most are quite understandable (in context of course!).

He still has a few funny ones that we have to translate. For whatever reason, he calls his milk "eee-yaw". Have no idea where that came from!

His other funny word is that the word for thank you is "cookie". I think this is our fault for confusing him. When he would get a cookie, we would have him say thank you, so now he thinks that is the word for thank you!!

He also will have the same lisp with the s's that Aidan does-- it is most pronounced when he says the words "juice", "nice" and "toots" (I am sure you can't imagine how he learned the word "toots"--- 3 year old brother, maybe!!).

Snow in the ATL 2010

Snow came down pretty hard- probably an inch an hour-- we got maybe 4 inches? So, the boys were all out in it having fun!

Caleb the aggressor was momentarily blinded by the snow hat-- a definite weakness

The best kind of snow-- very packable for a snowman-- carrot nose and prune eyes!

The next day the Georgia sun was out and the snow was already melting! It lasted on the ground about 24 hours or so, although we may be getting more!

Not to be confused with the Tar baby... It started out as a mini snowman because the big one in the front yard melted in 1 day (that is how it works in Atlanta)

Then, it was the snow baby, named... guess? Yes, Carter!

I guess living in Atlanta for almost 8 years, we aren't as good at dressing warmly... Daddy did his best documenting our lack of dress... Caleb with the hat over the eyes...
