Snow in the ATL 2010

Snow came down pretty hard- probably an inch an hour-- we got maybe 4 inches? So, the boys were all out in it having fun!

Caleb the aggressor was momentarily blinded by the snow hat-- a definite weakness

The best kind of snow-- very packable for a snowman-- carrot nose and prune eyes!

The next day the Georgia sun was out and the snow was already melting! It lasted on the ground about 24 hours or so, although we may be getting more!

Not to be confused with the Tar baby... It started out as a mini snowman because the big one in the front yard melted in 1 day (that is how it works in Atlanta)

Then, it was the snow baby, named... guess? Yes, Carter!

I guess living in Atlanta for almost 8 years, we aren't as good at dressing warmly... Daddy did his best documenting our lack of dress... Caleb with the hat over the eyes...

Baby number 3 is ....

A BOY!!!

Everything looks great on ultrasound-so we are very thankful!

We have been asking Aidan if he wanted a little brother or a sister, and he always says, "I want a little brother, like Caleb". We also ask him what we should name the baby, and the answer is ALWAYS, "um.... Carter; Carter is a boy in my class".

I am thankful that Aidan likes that name, since Andy wanted to name his youngest brother Mercury when he was Aidan's age and they were awaiting Jordan's arrival.

Our house is going to be busy!

To and from Tanzania

We had quite a whirlwind trip to Tanzania to check out the job opportunity for us there. They kept me very busy while I was there, and Andy was busy checking out places that he would be interested in working at. We are still trying to make a decision about where to go-- and I actually have a few more job interviews to go to, so when they are all done-- we will attempt a decision.

On our way back, we missed a few flights and still managed to connect with my parents/our children in Detroit. My parents drove back home just in time to see their newest grandson, Mason! He is so cute and we can't wait to get back up there to meet him!

Thanks to all who prayed for us while we were there. God was really faithful to answer those prayers.
